DaisyMae (AKA) Maddie came to visit in April of 08
It took just a while for Mom to remember me. Pebbles was cool right away. But Dad
a few minutes. When they all remembered me it was cool, but then I discovered the
babies and I remembered everything and I jumped all the way across the room and
into Pam's arms and I licked and kissed her for at least an hour. It was great.
Then I went and played with the babies until Pebbles told me to go away. So Dad
and I went outside and ran and ran.
Pam cut my hair but for got to take pictures. It took a couple days because I wanted
to help and Pam wouldn't let me. Its not done yet, but I look like Mom and Dad now,
Dad more than Mom, maybe.
Me, Mom and Dad
Windy Saturday
Mom's ears and chin,
Dads eyes and nose.
Dad's hair with just a bit of
Mom's waviness.
I can run like Dad, and I prance
like him too, but I love the babies
the way my mommy does.
One of the neighbor ladies came over because she said I was the most beautiful
dog she had ever seen. Of course that was before Pam cut the hair on my ears
and legs. She said they were too matted to keep them long, but I sure looked sexy!

I really like these babies. Its like playing with a stuffed toy that moves and squeaks. Dad growls at
me if I use my paw to roll them over and Pam refuses to let me carry them around the house. I
mean really, I'm careful and gentle. I just put my mouth around their neck and lift them up. So all I
can do is push them around with my nose and chase them. It is especially fun when the four of
them gang up and try to bite my feet.
This sleeping on the sofa together is really cool too. I usually sleep next to Mom.
Pam is really nice. She lets me sit in her lap and watch TV together at night time. She told me I was
a "persistent little beggar" when she ate turkey dinner, but I don't know what that means. Then she
gave me a carrot to chew. She puts a little extra stinky cheese on my food too, I watch when she
dishes up the food for everyone and I can tell she does it.
Hey, can we get one of these magic door thingies? There is one into the garage and I can go in
and out and in and out and in and out as much as I want.
I started digging a hole for Pam so she can plant a big tree after I'm gone. Pebbles helped.
I'm having lots of fun, but I miss you guys. No one here cuddles and talks to me as much as you
do. And it would be nice to get away from all these Wheatens. It is like a house of mirrors here.
